Soli Deo Gloria is always looking for new members to join us. If you are interested in joining, please contact us by email, SDGchoir@sbcglobal.net, or by calling (559) 432-2858 to schedule an audition.
New singers are expected to have some choral experience and be able to read music of some complexity, be able to learn text in other languages, and sing a voice part that currently has openings.
Rehearsals are held 2-3 Mondays per month from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., in Northeast Fresno. Members pay $65 dues per semester and are responsible for purchasing their dress.
The audition will consist of a voice quality/range check, a prepared piece (an art song, aria, or choral excerpt), vocalizing, a short sightreading passage, and a brief interview. Each audition takes around twenty minutes.
